Summer is the production director for both MAYDAY Magazine and independent book publisher New American Press. She also works in healthcare consulting as a proposal writer and project manager. She wrote her first collection of poetry for her senior thesis at Middlebury College, where she graduated in 2022. She's currently working on her first fantasy/sci-fi novel.
